I felt the same about Music Theory because I was behind in that course as well, but I was able to catch up after work last night. All I have to do now is write a 4 part, hymn style harmony for my composition and work on my Ear Training for the midterm on Monday. So hopefully there is still hope for catching up and understanding in real-time the concepts being thrown at me in Calculus. Sometimes I feel like it's just too fast...
Work tonight was crazy, the girls' volleyball played UBC to 5 sets, playing for at least 3 hours. They won a very tight and entertaining match, and may be hosting playoffs because of it. There was a men's match after that against the U of A, which pushed the Event-Staff's clock out time to 12:15 after cleaning up. Thus it felt like my long week never ended... At least I can be sure I didn't have a weekend.
Another cool thing this week: I received a desktop computer from my friend who recently graduated from TWU. A friendly staff member also gave me some RAM for it, which was awesome. Unfortunately I'm having problems partitioning the hard drive. It seems though that I am not alone in this... we'll see if I figure this out. In the meantime I have a very beautiful peace of machinery sitting on my desk =D.
So now it's past 3 am and I have to wake up before 9:10 at the latest when my ride picks me up for church. This is the unfortunate cycle of David's weekends, where he stays up very late on Thursday or Friday because he has nothing to wake up for, but then come Sunday morning he feels very unfortunate. It may be kind of lame telling you this but I intend to break this unfortunate cycle. Hopefully by telling you it will motivate me even more to sleep and wake up at normal times in the coming weeks. This is me trying to play psychological games with myself. Hopefully it works.

don't worry, calculus week is coming up. =P
as for sleeping patterns, can I also suggest that you don't settle into good sleeping patterns only to break them again during reading week when you have nothing to get up for? Because if you really want to train yourself to sleep at different times, it won't help if you accomplish it for two weeks then go right back to where you started. At least, I can't see that it would help.
Isn't that what church is for?....catching up on yhour sleep....Hee hee
Dad
