I'm finally settling into a lifestyle for this summer. I'm really enjoying it.
Monday:
MMMmmmm, Mondays. I get to work at 9:00. First thing is the check the eSupport email. A big part of my job is providing support for the systems we maintain. Once the folder is cleared, it's work on projects we're doing. One project I just finished is writing up a draft for an Accessibility Policy Proposal. This is going to be a huge thing to enforce, given the laziness factor of humanity, but I have fun doing things like that. I also hope to be getting my hands wetter with code. With the new projects coming up, we're going to be pretty busy with that so I look forward to it.
At 12:00 is soccer. Staff and faculty from different departments get together on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to play soccer, rain or shine. It's quite competitive, and keeps me (or should I say gets me) in shape. After that is lunch, back to work until 17:00.
Then from 18:30 until 21:30 I have my game design class which is lots of fun, but very busy right now.
Tuesday:
Tuesday starts the same time, 9:00. As far as work goes everyday is pretty much the same. Come 12:00 though, I work out in the Gym with 2 of my coworkers. I'm really happy about working out in the gym too, because it looks like it's going to turn into a habit. After working out is lunch, then work until 17:00. I drive 35 minutes each way from home to work every day... eats up gas but I've gotten used to the "driving perspective" of the city.
Wednesday:
Wednesday I get to work at 13:00, because I have the night shift until 21:00. I show up at 12:00 for soccer though =). My bosses name is Geoffrey, a guy from China who's pretty cool. Young and newly married, the good buddy type you can make fun of.
There is a coding party in the evening until 22:00 on Wednesdays as well.
Thursday:
Thursday is the same normal schedule, 9:00 to 17:00. I work out at the gym again at 12:00. Today was special though because I was invited to an XSLT tutorial at 12:00 so I worked out from 13:00 then went to a farewell party for staff here at 14:30. Free lunch and everything =). Wasn't sure if I was going to get any work done today... then at 18:30 I have class until 21:30.
Friday:
Friday is the same as Tuesday... kinda boring, but hey, it's the last day
Saturday:
Coding party for the class all day!!!
Sunday:
Church of course

Hi David,
Really glad to hear how well things are going. It's going to be hard to go back to studying as a lifestyle. But this gives you a taste of life at work on computers - with a course thrown in! Thanks for writing this - it's always great to read and catch up on your life.
